Adults only, sixteen and over, in the warmest valley in South Tyrol — and the sauna tower goes up six floors. A five-elements panorama sauna, a grape and wine sauna under a brick vault, an olive sauna, a Finnish panorama at ninety degrees, a crystal steam bath. On the roof of the tower, a salt-water infinity pool at thirty-six degrees and three per cent salt.
There is a twenty-metre sky infinity sport pool on the fifth floor of the Sonnenschlössl, a snow room down to minus ten, and a relaxation room designed by an audiologist that won a European innovation award. The sauna area and the rooftop are textile-free.
Food is not half board by any normal reading: breakfast until eleven, live cooking from one until four, seven courses at half seven, and a different themed evening most nights. Three or four guided hikes a week, up to twelve bike tours, and a wine seminar with tasting.
