Six separate spas, three adults-only and three family, plus two concert halls: couples and children need never share water.
Six separate spas. Three of them adults-only from sixteen, three for families, in different parts of the building — so the arithmetic that ruins most family hotels simply does not apply here.
In the adults' Badehaus: a twenty-five-metre rooftop infinity pool at thirty-two degrees in winter, a twenty-metre saltwater infinity pool held at thirty-five all year, and an eighteen-metre sunset pool where swimwear is optional. The Oriental Hamam is five hundred square metres across three domed rooms cut from Jura stone between sixty and two hundred million years old. The Shantigiri has a Japanese onsen at forty. The Nature Spa is a natural pool on the Ferchenbach stream, with ice bathing all year.
The rate is bed and breakfast, and includes the cultural programme, concert admission, daily yoga at the in-house Jivamukti centre, the gyms and the clay tennis courts. Two concert halls. Children up to fifteen eat lunch and dinner free at the family restaurant.
