The Retreat Lagoon is private and separate from the public Blue Lagoon — silica-rich, quiet, and yours. Access to the public lagoon is unlimited too, and there is a subterranean spa ritual through a lava cave. The Retreat Spa runs to over four thousand square metres.
Breakfast is à la carte from seven until eleven, the minibar is complimentary, and afternoon tea and coffee with Icelandic sweets appear in the lobby. Guided yoga every morning at nine, rotating between Hatha, Vinyasa and Kundalini, and a guided geological hike daily. Both spa and lagoon are twelve-plus.
