The Alpina Gstaad

A fifty-six-key Gstaad chalet with a Six Senses spa, Jean Mus gardens and a dedicated women-only wet wing.

Fifty-six rooms, every one with its own terrace or balcony, and Switzerland's first Six Senses spa across two thousand square metres.

A twenty-five-metre indoor pool with two Jacuzzis and a stone water wall; a heated outdoor pool set in gardens by Jean Mus; a salt room; a hammam; ice showers and mini ice fountains. There is a dedicated sound-healing treatment room.

The best-designed detail is the Ladies Only area — three interconnecting rooms with private access to the women's wet facilities, which is a rarer piece of thoughtfulness than it should be. Under-twelves are admitted between nine and five only, so the evenings belong to the adults.

If this appeals

Compiled from the hotel's own published pages where available, otherwise from trade and press sources, correct as at September 2026. Anything marked "not published" is something the hotel does not state — we would rather tell you that than guess. The image above is a generated illustration, not a photograph of the property.
