ADLER Spa Resort DOLOMITI

A Val Gardena family resort where guided hikes and ski excursions run twice a day and childcare covers twelve hours.

A Val Gardena family resort where the guided programme is the point: local guides take a hike, a bike tour or a ski excursion several times a day, and twice a day in spring, summer and autumn the guided tour is free and simply happens whether you join or not.

The AGUANA water world has a thirty-six-degree brine pool running indoors to outdoors, a heated outdoor pool, several whirlpools, and a sauna world with a separate ladies' area.

The childcare is the most generous on this list — the AKI club runs from ten in the morning to ten at night, every day, from age four, with a children's cinema, an all-day juice bar and their own table at lunch and dinner with drinks included. Which is to say: parents can actually use the spa.

The awards

Recognition

Falstaff Spa Guide 2026 — 98/100South Tyrol Sustainability Label, Level 3EarthCheck certified

Falstaff and the RELAX Guide are the two authorities on spa hotels in the German-speaking world — widely trusted there, and almost unknown elsewhere. Falstaff scores out of 100; the RELAX Guide awards up to four lilies, which very few hotels hold. Gault&Millau rates kitchens in toques, four being exceptional.
